to my dismay, this past week brought the end of my summer and the beginning of a new school year. with the new school year also came the start of field hockey season and the race to meet college application deadlines; can you say stress? the one bright side of my week, though, was the fact that connecticut is still experiencing ideal summer weather, prolonging the life of my summer wardrobe.

my midweek outfit included an army green linen skirt by ecote for urban outfitters paired with a cropped muscle tee from h&m. as usual, my goal was to be comfy and cool, and breezy fabrics were ideal for achieving this. on  my feet were my ‘lauren’ sandals, as i am becoming more and more obsessed with them each day.
