just beachy

one of my most favorite things about being at school is the fact that going to the beach between classes is an option to break up my afternoon. when i get bored of being in my room or stressed after a long day, i know that the serenity of the ocean is just a five minute uber away. having spent the majority of my childhood by the beach, i am so thankful for this close-by escape that allows me to relax and recharge whenever i need. also, beach parties? yes please!

just recently, my friends and i decided to make a visit to fairfield beach to shoot blog content, enjoy the scenery and (hopefully!) play with the dogs that so frequently visit the beach with their owners. for this outing, i paired my tried and true free people skinny jeans with a dark green fringed sweater (also free people). i topped off my look with a j. crew vest(similar) and wore my steve madden lace-up flats, which i’m absolutely loving for late winter. lastly, i carried my go-everywhere bag, the kate spade claudine tote, which is no longer available, but can be purchased here on poshmark!
