fridays always call for the comfiest outfits imaginable. i treat my end of the week look as a reward for surviving the past five days and habitually find myself saving my favorite pieces for my final look before the weekend. this past friday, i finally flaunted some recent free people pick-ups, including both my sweater and jeans. here are the deets:

i have always been a huge fan of a good cowl neck sweater, and recently purchased this beauty. it truly is the perfect sweater. the knit is the ideal weight for layering under a vest or light jacket, although the extra layer was unnecessary recently, and despite feeling itchy on the exterior, is super soft against the skin. of course, the drapey neckline is an added bonus- no scarf required!

with the sweater, i paired another favorite, a classic pair of black skinnies with slashed knees by free people. these are by far the comfiest jeans i have ever purchased! for footwear, i chose my black chelsea boots, but of course!!!
